The Cisco booth will be displaying the opportunities offered by the Cisco Networking Academy (NetAcad) and how Cisco has been closing the digital skills gap throughout the European Union. The booth will have brochures and videos relating to the skills taught through the NetAcad to students across Europe. Information on the Creathon that Cisco is organizing for students and will be held during the eSkills conference can also be given by the staff at the booth. There will also be some goodies for anyone visiting the stand. VHTO, the Dutch national Expert Organisation on Girls/Women and Science/Technology/IT (www.vhto.nl) created the DigiVita Program (see www.digivita.nl) to increase the participation of girls in Computer Science. At our boot we will show the activities we succesfully organise:
* for girls (DigiVita Code Events, workshadowing & speeddating with female IT-professionals, annual Girlsday,Digivita Summercamp),
* for female IT-studentes (Mentoring Circles with Leading ladies in IT)
* for teachers in primary education (training sessions on gender balance & coding skills; Pizza & Programming Parties)
* for IT-teachers in secundary education (training sessions in cooperation with 4 IT-companies).
Zora is one of the first humanoid robots in the world who is used directly with people. She is already in use in residential care centers, schools and hospitals. She is used both for rehabilitation of elderly and children and for animation. As well as in schools that help children with autism.

Campus Party Europe, is the greatest technological experience which brings together young geeks & aspiring entrepreneurs in a festival of innovation, creativity, science, digital entertainment & entrepreneurship.
Campus Party will be held in Utrecht, 25 – 29 May 2016. The IKANOS project in the Basque Country The Basque Country’s Government launched the IKANOS project in 2012 to develop digital competence on a large scale within the Basque society, as part of its Agenda Digital de Euskadi 2015 (AD@15). The Economics and Competitiveness Dept. of the Directorate General Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Information society is in charge of the IKANOS project. IKANOS was from the very beginning inspired by and designed to implement the European DigComp framework, aiming to address the common and specific digital competence needs of citizens, enterprises, civil servants, teachers and other segments of the Basque society.
